From Scotland UK the EU variant SDS200E was chosen and purchased from Lynch and Sons. Check with your motherboard manufacturer or PC maker. The micro can be used to power only. The mini powers and will charge simultaneously if enabled. There's no issues I found plugging in both while charging or not.The SDS100 comes with a USB charger. Alternately any USB charger will power and/or charge the SDS100 battery. If you have a smartphone or other USB device charger you can use it if you don’t want to use the charger that came with the radio. In the car you can use any USB port to power/charge the radio.Sometimes I like to use the Pro106 to scan conventional channels while the SDS100 is scanning trunked systems. To make it easier to turn on/off the conventional channels on the SDS100, I create favorite lists (1=Muni, 2=State, 3=Fed/Mil, 4=Medical, 5=Education, 6=Aviation, 7=Rail/Transit, 8=Business, 9=Ham, Media & Search) and then use the ...Sep 11, 2020 · I spent about 5 hours with my buddy Dodge Rice (DodgeTheMachinist) learning how to place the inset SDS100, or whatever inlaid text on the sides. I used the website www.tinkercad.com to edit the original .stl file. It was a fun learning process. Dodge is a great machinist as well as a 3d print designer. Go to Maxims One Drive where he has all firmware version and go to the SDS100 folder. Download the file "SDS-100_V1_10_00.bin" and "SDS-100_SUB_V1._02_01.firm" and put those files on the SD card in the firmware folder. Hello, I have switched hard drives and loaded win10 64bit and I forgot my email to get the license key to load. The SDS100, handheld brother, has the same display format, just smaller and narrower. In the Profile Editor, click on the Service Types tab. Now, out in the middle of the Service Types list, <Right Click on a blank spot. That will give you a small pop-up menu where you can either enable all Service Types on, or turn all of them off (Disabled). The SDS100 does everything a scanner can do. I ran the SDS100 alongside the IC R30 for three hours yesterday in my office. The IC-R30 far outperformed the SDS100 and rarely stopped, opened squelch without good clear voice traffic. If your computer can't supply 1A minimum, you need to use a powered hub. NXDN 1 Frequency Trunking works great and decodes NXDN names sent by the radio. 3.NXDN Trunking works great IF YOU KNOW ALL THE FREQUENCIES AND LCN'S. However, after a couple lengthy trips to Uniden Repair, I was given a factory refurbished unit as a replacement to my original. This honey badger eats simulcast for breakfast. Faster scanning. Like 25-50% faster plowing through conventional channels, or 100-120 channels/second vs 80 for the x36. The screen is much clearer than the displays of the x36 scanners. MUCH CLEARER.The SDS's most likely do too. A small separate rechargeable coin like battery that was just to keep the clock going. Normally, they should last a least a few weeks to a few months if the main battery is dead. If the main battery is dead I've had mine work fine 6mo+ later. The old scanners worked fine with a amplified speaker plugged in the headphone jack. The jack the on the sds100 is dummied down so low a amplified speaker don't help much. Jun 11, 2018. #2. That works if you are picking a specific choice, such as Normal, Wide Invert, Global, etc. But if you are using Auto, the display only shows "Auto", not which choice it found was the best match. K. If this test still has the "Low Voltage" problem then try using the Mini-USB cable and power USB power supply that came with the SDS100 (without the GPS). If that works, then there may be a problem with the Uniden BC-UTGC cable. I soldered wires to the three pins on the USB plug first and then soldered the 3 different sets of wires to the leads. Solder the bare wires together. Click "Clear User Data" to format the memory card for Uniden. 3. Make sure that the "Display all drives" is checkbox is marked, then press OK. 4. Click OK again to format. 5. Click OK one more time at this warning page. It is okay if the data in this memory card is getting wiped.
